BALAFOR:

My name is Balafor, those who know me closer, know also that I’m a trained member of a mafia crime syndicate. My job is to spy on our competitors and pass their personal information on to my gang’s leader. I’m thrilled to have become his right-hand man! I’m so excited about my new mission! I’m going undercover to spy on a police officer who’s investigating an illegal drug ring operating secretly in the city. We can’t kill him outright, so I plan to spy on him to figure out his plans and easily sabotage them, ruin his investigation, and kill him.

THE STEPHEN:

Since Brad suddenly left his job and went to live with his mother in the other part of the country, a new rookie cop was placed on the team. I had certain difficulties staying calm when I saw him for the first time. A young man just to my taste: dark hair, handsome face, lean toned body, and hot promising bulge in his crotch. Every time I saw him, something was moving in my pants. I am sure he must have noticed that too. But talking about me. I am Stephen, 24-year-old senior investigator in Central law enforcement, investigating criminal gangs. Right now I am very close to busting an important gang, getting its members behind bars, and breaking the gang. I have done it often, and that's why I was given a nickname, Balafor, being the best and only one.

Just two days ago I received instruction to keep Balafor close to me, so the rookie cop could learn faster from the real professional. I am really a lucky guy! "Balafor, tonight you will come with me to do some field investigation. There is a large, abandoned warehouse I suspect the gang is using to store drugs and have meetings with other gangs. Who knows what else. Are you ready for that? Nothing to worry about, I will protect you."

BALAFOR:

I froze when you told me about this warehouse search. "This is our second-largest warehouse, and the raiders will cause us significant losses."

"I'm ready, Officer," I said confidently, immediately proceeding to inform the boss of the need to move all the drugs out of the warehouse before the police arrived. We decided to go to the warehouse late at night so that no one would find out about the raid. You are in a vulnerable position because there are only a few police officers on the scene. This gives us a great opportunity to assassinate you. We arrive at the warehouse and find nothing significant. You look disappointed.

" seems like you were wrong, Stephen. This is just an abandoned warehouse with no sign of drugs" I mock indirectly

THE STEPHEN:

Turning to look at you after your words and find you a bit nervous. I place my hand on your shoulder and smile "Don´t worry buddy, " I keep a short break and continue, "They probably just found out somehow about the search and moved the drugs elsewhere. But that will stop soon. We have an internal investigation going on trying to find out who is leaking information. But don´t tell about this to anyone, will you?". I walk deeper into the building as most of the police men are already leaving the place.

"Buddy, another thing, I have know few other warehouses that they use often, We just need to catch them on time. You better stay with these two guys here, just in case some of the mafia killers come back. Safer for you", I show the two muscular cops next to the main door. "Stay with them, I will investigate a bit more. I am sure there must be something"

BALAFOR:

I was taken aback when you informed me about the internal investigation. "I'm not saying anything. The culprit must be punished," I stated. I started following you, but you asked me to stay here. I wanted to refuse, but I couldn't defy your order, so I agreed reluctantly. I waited until you had left, and about 10 minutes later I faked an emergency call and told two police officers that you had asked me for help.

They were suspicious, though, and one of them took his phone out of his pocket to check with you. I was determined not to let my plan fall apart. In a desperate move, I drew my gun and shot him in the hand. "Don't you dare call him," I yelled. "Now I have no choice but to kill you both," I declared, and in the next moment, I shot them in the chest and destroyed their phones. "Now it's that shitty senior officer's turn to be my target," I declared confidently. I called the mafia boss and warned him about you. He and his men lost consciousness. I turned to walk further into the warehouse to look for you. I will shoot you the moment I see you.

THE STEPHEN:

A few loud bangs, like gunshots, interrupt my investigations, when I hear someone running quickly behind me, heading straight for me. I draw my gun from its holster until I realize it’s actually you, and I put my gun back in the holster hanging from my thigh. You look startled and tense. “What happened? I asked you to stay with our colleagues. Did something happen there? Are you ok?” I place my hand on your shoulder to calm you down.

BALAFOR:

I was going to take you to the same room and shoot you. I want to make you suffer before I kill you. You will suffer just as you predicted when you saw your friends lying dead. “I was right when I said that a few Mafia henchmen would attack us. We shot them. The officers have them and have asked me to call you. I lied. Let's go there. I will shove the gun inside the holder and follow you.”

THE STEPHEN:

"You killed them? Are our colleagues officers are all good too?" I place my hand on your back as we walk through the dark and large warehouse hall to the entrance. I try to find the two big officers but can't see them until we get closer and see them on the floor, covered with blood. I reach down to check their heartbeat and turn to look at you. "But they are dead, both of them. Shot in the chest through the protective waist coat. What happened here?"

BALAFOR:

We arrive at the scene, and I can see how shocked and confused you are when you see them dead. I look at your face and say quietly, “They tried to ruin my plan. I didn’t mean to kill them, but I had to,” I chuckle and point my gun at you as you turn toward me. “Do you have a last wish, Officer?”

THE STEPHEN:

My mind is overloaded for an instant as I listen to your words and finally see the whole puzzle. "So it was you all the time? But why, buddy? Why? You who had a splendid career waiting for you". But I don't wait for your answer as I wrap my fingers around your wrist and twist your hand that is holding the gun away from my face as I send an uppercut into your abs with my free hand. I stand up, still holding you by your wrist, and twist it harder until you release the gun and drop it on the floor. I let your wrist go and grab you by your throat, pushing your body against the wall behind you and slowly lifting you in the air until your legs are swinging in the air. "You better talk now or I will crush your windpipe."

BALAFOR:

“Ugh, leave me alone,” I yell, startled, as you suddenly shove me up against the wall. My gun lies on the floor, out of my reach.

“I’m not your cop, so what’s your problem, bitch? I’m the deputy commander of a mafia boss, and my job is to spy on you.” I grab your wrist and try to break free from your grip.

“You’re going to die today.” I’m having trouble breathing, but I lift my leg, trying to kick your bulge

THE STEPHEN:

You struggle like crazy, trying to scratch my arms and kick anywhere you can. "Is that so? We have a little mafia boss here?", I chuckle and add more pressure on your throat, digging my fingers deeper around your Adam's apple. "You can fight back all you want; I don't really care. You are wanted, dead or alive, so I really give a shit if you get killed here and now. I lift your body even higher, stretching my arms upwards.

BALAFOR:

"I'll kill you, bitch," I growl. I dig my nails into your skin to break free from your grip and slam my foot hard into your groin again. "Before you die, you'll lose your manhood"

THE STEPHEN:

Loosening instantly my grip around your throat when your hard boot lands squarely into my balls. I step backwards, trying to stay on my feet, feeling like vomiting as the pain is expanding from my groin through my lower abs all around my body. I fold as my knees get limp, eventually forcing me to drop down on one knee. nursing my nuts with both of my hands.

BALAFOR:

I drop to my knees and cough violently as you step back. I rub my throat and take a deep breath. “Weak bitch,” I sneer, and immediately get back to my feet. I take advantage of the moment while you’re on your knees and slam my elbow into your head.

THE STEPHEN:

This time I am ready; seeing your elbow approaching fast, my head surges forward, wrapping my arms around your shins, closing your legs tightly together as I pull my arms, trying to make you lose your balance and fall down. Your evil elbow hits my upper back, making me cough but not stopping me from pulling your feet towards me.

BALAFOR:

You catch me off guard with your sudden movement, which makes me lose my balance. I stumble and fall flat on my hands and knees. “Fuck, let me go!” I twist my body to break free from your grip on my thigh. I turn slightly and raise my other hand behind me to hit you on the upper arm.

THE STEPHEN:

Despite the pain you managed to cause me previously, a wide grin appears on my face as your punch lands on my flexed bicep. "I hope you didn't hurt your little hand," I mock you as I surge on top of your body, crushing you against the floor with my heavy body. "So you are Mafia boss, almost," I chuckle as I ram my knee into your sides, trying to cause some serious damage to your lower ribs.

BALAFOR:

"Fuck!" I yell as my balls are squeezed between the floor and my body. It is clear that your weight is now too much to bear. "Let go of me. Yes, I'm Mafia, invincible." Your knee hits me, and my body shudders and my toes curl as I endure more pain. My face was pressed against the cold floor. I was exhausted, but I was also angry. My fists were clenched.

THE STEPHEN:

I wrap my arm around your body, trying to catch your wrists to bend your arms behind your back as I grind my stiff bulge against your buttocks. "Stop fighting back, and this will all be over soon. I fuck your little mafia ass and send you with the worst prisoners, who will like to spend time with a cute guy like you. I laugh to your ear

BALAFOR:

My biceps are tensed as you bend my arms backwards. "No way, I'm never giving in. I'm not a faggot," I yell, still trying to break free from your grip. I can feel your hard bulge, which is making me even more frustrated. "Keep that tiny dick of yours far from me.

THE STEPHEN:

"Tiny dick?" I laugh loudly as I open my zipper with one hand and dig my over nine-inch-large, thick cock out of my pants. "Wanna taste it boy?" I laugh as I straddle your uppr thigs rubbing my leaking cock head against your ass. "Should we pull your pants down?"

BALAFOR:

" I will snap and rip off your cock bitch " I groan. " Don't dare to touch me" I'm twisting, but I'm struggling under your weight. My biceps tense up as you hold them locked behind your back.

THE STEPHEN:

I press your hands against your back using one arms only while using the free hand I pull down your pants revealing your smooth, muscular butt "Oh yes, you will take my cock deep inside you. I will breed you and send your balls to your boss when I have done with you!" I raise my hips and slide my cock into your crack until I feel your soft rosy whole against my cock head. "Ready boy?"

BALAFOR:

My eyes widened as the situation spiraled beyond anything I had planned. Pinned beneath the veteran investigator, my wrists trapped, I stop struggling for a split second, not out of surrender, but calculation.

A sudden metallic clang echoed through the warehouse. We both froze.Someone else was inside.

THE STEPHEN:

My instincts take over as my attention shifted toward the darkness beyond the loading bays. Footsteps... several of them.

BALAFOR:

I take advantage of the brief distraction, driving my shoulder hard into Stephen´s chest. The impact wasn't enough to throw the larger investigator off completely, but it created just enough space for me to roll sideways across the dusty concrete.

Stephen´s dropped pistol still lay several meters away. Both of us lunge toward it simultaneously.

Stephen reaches it first, kicking the weapon deep beneath a rusted shipping container before my fingertips could touch it.

THE STEPHEN:

"You've got nowhere left to run," I breathe heavily as I raise my service weapon. "Your cover is blown.", I hiss watching how you  slowly lift your hands...

BALAFOR:

I lift my hands up...then smile."You still don't understand."

The warehouse lights suddenly went dark. The entire building plunged into silence until suddenly, automatic gunfire erupted from somewhere near the entrance, followed by panicked shouting from officers outside.

"The extraction team," I mutter with a grin.

THE STEPHEN:

I look at you, unable to believe what is going on. This wasn't a rescue mission for the police. It was an ambush.

Red laser sights begin cutting through the darkness as armed figures advance between the towering stacks of crates.

I step beside Balafor, "Looks like your friends don't care whether you survive."

BALAFOR:

I glance toward the approaching gunmen and realize Stephen was right.

The mafia didn´t come to rescue me, they came to erase every loose end… including me.

I turn to look at Stephen. A red laser dot lingers between his legs for a moment. Then a shot rings out, and Stephen’s bulge explodes into a bloody pulp just as another bullet strikes him between the eyes, killing him instantly.

I look down and see a similar red dot rising from my stomach to just below my left pec. A shot.

This story is a punch. Not just a duel, not just an infiltration: it is a descent into hell written with clinical precision. You take two men who believe they are in control of the situation, and you make them slip into a gear where each decision brings them closer to death.

What struck me was the way you build tension. Balafor is not a mafia cliché: he is ambitious, nervous, dangerous, but also terribly human in his mistakes. Stephen is not an invincible hero: he is competent, but fallible, too confident, too human. Their confrontation is not a super‐man fight, it is a duel of wills, fatigue, fear, and rage.

And then you dare total darkness. No rescue, no Hollywood twist. The mafia is coming, and it does what criminal organizations do: it erases witnesses, even its own. Stephen falls, Balafor falls, and the stage closes like a prison door. It’s brutal, it’s cold, it’s realistic.

You write with a rare intensity. You know how to create heavy atmospheres, silences that weigh down, gestures that tell more than just dialogues. You also know how to follow through on your narrative choices: you don’t shy away from the tragic, you don’t protect your characters, you let them face the consequences of their actions.

This story is a true noir thriller. A spiral of violence, betrayal, and fate. And you control it.

Stephen and Balafor spend the entire story trying to outsmart each other, each convinced he has the upper hand, only for the situation to change again moments later. Their duel is driven as much by deception and hidden identities as by physical violence, keeping the tension high until the very end. Then comes the perfect twist: just when it seems the final winner has been decided, A clever crime thriller with a memorable ending Thanks for sharing it with THE HIGH TABLE.
