Introduction

Yoshihiro Mori (森嘉宏) was born into a modest household in the suburbs of Kobe, Japan. From a young age, he was drawn to martial arts, inspired by a neighbor who owned a Karate Dojo teaching Kyokushin Karate. He began training as soon as he could walk, developing confidence through his immersion in martial arts. However, Yoshihiro was naturally shy, with some of his elementary school teachers describing him as reclusive. They often found him practicing Katas or Kihon alone on the playground.

As Yoshihiro entered middle school, he became more introspective and realized he was different. Discovering his sexuality, he understood he was gay. Living in a conservative area of Japan, he chose to keep his sexual orientation private, which added to his reserved nature.

Yoshihiro's path changed when his Sensei encouraged him to participate in tournaments. Initially focusing on karate, he found the competition exhilarating and soon expanded into amateur kickboxing. His high knockout counts and powerful kicks caught the attention of a scout. At 17, he made a stunning professional debut by knocking out a much older opponent in the first round, earning acclaim as a rising star. He has since compiled an impressive fight record of 10-1, all wins by knockout, culminating in a championship victory earlier this year.

Despite his success, Yoshihiro found kickboxing rules restrictive. This led him to explore the No Holds Barred (NHB) underground fighting scene, where matches provided the freedom he craved, though his record there is less pristine. In this environment, he found not only thrilling matches, but also unique personal experiences, often engaging intimately with his opponents post-fight.
