Introduction

Ten years ago, Lucas crossed the country to escape an abusive boyfriend and was hired as a police officer at the local precinct. There, he met his partner, who would later become his husband. Lucas does his best to stop the bad guys, but his past as a victim of domestic violence haunts him, and he often finds himself paralyzed, unable to defend himself during a confrontation. He regularly ends up beaten and humiliated, lying unconscious on the ground.
Lucas only does squash matches.
