Well said, Bronx. I don't usually prefer cyber matches that just devolve into outright sex scenes, I'm here for the action, punishment, domination and humiliation. I'd be in favor of such tags.
I think this is a great idea, tags right on the profile so people know what to expect when they message someone for the first time.
I can't tell you how many times a guy has approached me looking for only sex, we get into a long conversation and then I have to let him know I'm not looking for sex in a wrestling ring, no judgement, that just isn't for me.
I absolutely agree with increasing the Maximum number of Keywords/Tags (they're listed as 'Keywords' in Step 3 of character creation)! That would be excellent for sure.
However, there are not already keywords/tags for Non-Sexual, or No Sex Required.
Because the majority of content players engage in seems to be skewing towards sex, having more specific tags related to non-sexual content would be very useful to many players who are struggling to find non-sexual matches.
See, as it stands, there is a flaw in the Keyword/Tag system: the context of a Keyword/Tag is entirely subjective. For example:
If someone uses the Keyword/Tag [Bearhugs], does that mean they want to give bearhugs? Or does it mean they are looking only for opponents who give bearhugs? Or does it mean they both do bearhugs, and only want to match with other opponents who give bearhugs? Or, does it simply mean bearhugs are an interest, and optional?
There's no context for the "priority" of a Keyword/Tag. So, if someone doesn't have the [Sex] Keyword/Tag, is it because they didn't have enough tags to add all their interests including sex? Does it mean they are not looking for sex at all? It still requires discussing it with the individual ahead of time, to understand the context of what they want.
Having a Keyword/Tag [No Sex Required] is far more clear in its context/intent: The character is looking for matches, that can, but don't have to, include Sex. The other major benefit, this would make those players/characters easier to find in the Character search.
Since Keywords/Tags are an optional feature, the only difficulty would be a site administrator taking the time to add them to the list of other Keywords/Tags. We did after all recently see additional tags such as
Cybernetic and Monster, after all.
...and any other Keyword the community would like to amend to this request!
Hello Tech and ChatFighters team! Recently the thread Does wrestling/fighting has to be always erotic? has gotten a bit of attention, and a lot of people have shared their thoughts and opinions. There seems to be appreciation for the idea that new Keywords/Tags be created, to help indicate to users whether a Player's Character needs to have Sex in their match, or if the Player's Character is open to matches that do not include sex.
Erotic versus competitive, wrestling versus sex, however you want to put it, some people think it would be easier to find the match they're looking for if they didn't have to constantly guess or ask whether someone was looking for a match that required sex. A Keyword on a Character's profile could make this a lot easier, especially considering the really cool Character search exists!
With that, I'd like to suggest adding the following Keywords to Character creation/editing:
[No Sex Required]
Indicates the Character may have kinks/sexual interests, but does not require them in a match.
[Non-Sexual]
Indicates the Character does not want to participate in sexual matches.
[Sex Only]
Indicates the Character is intended for only matches that involve Sex.
...bonus points for making them all caps to be great attention-getters! But seriously, I'd be excited for everyone in favor of this idea to leave their thoughts, or suggest additional tags relevant to the idea of making it clear that a Character is intended for Non-Sexual encounters, to include changing the wording of these suggested Keywords for clarity (perhaps there's other ways of putting it, like [Must Have Sex] or something.
As discussed in the thread, there are many reasons for this. As these would be additive and optional tags, there's literally no argument against the proposition other than "it'd take up the Tech/administrators' time", which the Tech/administrators can speak for themselves on.
Cheers for taking the time to read this. I hope that, if implemented, the idea can make everyone's experience on the site better. Credit to everyone in the thread who took the time to share their thoughts, I hope they have an opportunity to leave their considerations here as well for further support!
I'm all for this. While some acts of kink or sensual activities I find arousing in wrestling, I get turned off as soon as it goes into outright sex. I've read plenty of hot wrestling scenarios on here, only to just stop reading once it gets to the anal sex. So many of these stories jump right to that, I'd love to read some hot creative pro wrestling scenes where the loser gets laid out and maybe slightly humiliated, but not f*****d.

If so then I don't see the need for them as there are already tags in place for it
And I'm pretty sure in searches there are options as well ..
If anything the limit on how many tags you can have to be increased from the 15 maximum would be useful
