In my naive mind, can multi characters interact and chat between each other in public or private chat rooms on here? Or, can it be done between multiple phones and comps ?
Yes, multiple of your own characters can talk to each other in any public or private rooms. All functions work, pictures, dice commands, HP system, etc.
You don't need a 2nd browser or window, enable your characters on the chat's character manager.
But you can't have private 1on1 direct conversations. - If you need that, create a private room with only these two.
You can always become a contributor for 1 month if your chat history is older than 30 days. - Just make sure to keep the room alive. Private rooms are not intended to be a long-term archive. - At least not as of right now. For long-term storage, convert it into a story.
In saying that.. if you only want to chat with yourself, you can directly write a story.
As Lloyd points out, yes, but consider that you'd be writing both roles. I have a notoriously bad habit of speaking as the wrong "skin" in Chat so I rarely play more than one at a time. That said, a number of my characters are inter-related so they will make guest appearances in my stories featuring the main one in that tale.
Depending on what kind of action you're looking for, you may want to consider writing in a Google doc or a Discord room where there isn't a time limit on editing a passage, then copy and paste it into the text editor here.
Yes, they can. I believe that there is a limit of 15 characters belonging to the same account that can appear in the chat at the same time. If you have more than 15, you can't have them all chatting at the same time.
They can also fight each other, but then you'd of course need to do all the writing. I am not sure if one character can send a direct chat message to the other, but you can put them all in the same room if you want them to fight each other.
