I don’t know how to do this proper.
I’m not good with speeches. Never have been. David knew that about me. He’d have given me shit for trying to sound like I’ve got the right words lined up. Probably would’ve leaned in with that half-grin of his and said, “Just say it straight, you stubborn bastard. You’re not fooling anyone.”
So I’ll say it straight.
David was my friend. One of the real ones. The kind who didn’t need a reason to show up. If you were down, he found a way to pull a laugh out of you without ever making you feel small for needing it. If you were angry or spinning out, he’d just be there…open, solid, honest, no bullshit. He had this way of making you feel like you still mattered even on the days you were sure you didn’t.
We shared a ring. We shared sweat and blood and the kind of nights that leave marks you don’t talk about in polite company. That last title match… I keep coming back to the quiet after the bell. Both of us wrecked, still tangled up, breathing hard, and him looking at me like the whole damn world had just narrowed down to that one moment. He was having fun. Real fun. The kind that lights a man up from the inside. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the look on his face.
What I miss most isn’t the big stuff. It’s the way he could turn any bad situation into something that made you snort. The way he’d show up unannounced if he got wind I was spinning out about something. No speech, just that solid presence and the honesty that never let me hide from myself. He had this quiet talent for making you feel like you mattered and that you were worth the time. I don’t know how he did it so easily. I only know I felt it every time. And that damned cocky grin of his and those deep blue eyes that a guy could get lost in so damned easily. That’s what I miss the most.
So instead of a big public notice, I’m writing what happened after that match. Just the two of us, still catching our breath, still not ready to let the night end. It’s the only way that feels right. I’d been reluctant to share this with anyone but David was all for us including this in the original post, but he understood that I respected him and his privacy and allowed me to leave it out.
If you knew David and you ever shared a ring, a long talk, or any of the quieter moments, I’d really like to hear those memories too. He was our mate, our friend, our lover, our man.
Thanks for reading.
“Dan Freyr”
Blood Bonds & Ginger Fury
The arena lights were still blazin hot as the final bell rang on the best-of-three-falls title defense. David “The Ginger Stunner” stood tall in the center of the ring, chest heavin, sweat and blood streakin his lean, ripped 5’9”, 170-pound frame. His ginger hair was matted, his 48-inch chest glistened under the spotlights, and the championship belt felt heavy and right across his shoulder. The crowd roared, but his eyes were locked on the man bein loaded onto the stretcher.
Dan Freyr. 45 years old, 5’9”, 186 pounds of hairy, tattooed, battle-hardened muscle. Shaved head gleamin under the lights, ginger mustache and beard now soaked crimson. His once-proud 49-inch chest rose and fell in shallow, pained breaths. A shattered jaw in three places, nose completely broken and flattened, deep lacerations across his cheek and brow, and bruises bloomin dark across his thick 28-inch thighs and powerful torso. Dan had given everythin…every dirty brawler’s punch, every desperate power move, every roar of defiance…but David had been too sharp, too experienced, too relentless. The final fall had ended with a picture-perfect Ginger Stunner that left Dan limp.
Medics rushed him out. David raised the belt once more for the fans, then dropped it to the canvas and vaulted the ropes, ignorin reporters and well-wishers. He headed straight backstage.
In the medical room, Dan was groggy from painkillers, jaw wired shut, face swollen and bandaged. The moment David stepped through the door, somethin electric passed between them. David’s green eyes met Dan’s fierce blue ones.
“You stupid, tough son of a bitch,” David whispered, voice rough with adrenaline and respect. “You nearly had me.”
Dan tried to speak but only managed a pained grunt. David sat on the edge of the bed, grabbed Dan’s calloused hand, and held it tight. The touch lingered. The air thickened. When the last medic finally left them alone, the dam broke.
David leaned in and kissed Dan…careful at first around the ruined jaw, then deeper, hungrier. Dan’s good hand fisted in David’s ginger hair, pullin him closer. Clothes were torn off with desperate urgency. David’s lean, athletic body pressed against Dan’s thicker, hairier, battle-scarred frame. They rutted like animals on the narrow medical bed and then the locker room floor once they staggered there together. Their sweat, blood, and cum mixin as they fucked hard and raw.
David rode Dan’s thick 9-inch uncut cock with the PA piercin, moanin as the steel dragged inside him. Then David flipped him and claimed Dan’s ass with long, powerful strokes, their bodies slappin together, grunts and curses fillin the room. They came multiple times that night, markin each other, bondin in pain and pleasure. Two kindred warrior souls who finally found someone who could match their fire.
He left too goddamned soon. That’s the part that still sits wrong in my chest. There’s no neat way to dress that up. He should still be here, still talking shit, still making the room feel different just by walking into it.
But he did leave something behind. He left the people he touched feeling stronger than they were before they knew him. He left laughter in places that needed it. He left the kind of loyalty that doesn’t need to be announced. And he left me with the knowledge that I was lucky enough to call a man like that my friend.
David the Ginger Stunner.
You were loved. You still are. You made a difference. A real one. Rest easy, mate.
I’ll see you again someday. Until then… I’ll keep your corner.

2026-08-23 22:24What a lovely read. It was always great seeing David Stunner around and he will be missed for sure. Even if I didn't have the honor or opportunity to know him more closely, he was always cheerful and pleasant, and made the planet and sloth lairs a fun place. Good to come across this lovely tribute, and appreciate you, Dan Freyr, for putting it together for us. Thank you. And rest in power, David Stunner -- you've left us great memories and a great legacy. ❤️🥀

2026-08-21 07:06I did not have the honor of knowing him personally, but I heard only good things about him from several of my friends, and now, after his final battle, this impression of mine has been confirmed. A great man is gone, but his memory and his story will live on among us.
And if we believe in the legend,
Then we must believe
That on Earth, there's one less fighter,
And in the heavens, there's one more star.
