The chat from the main room is shown on the federation home page. Not the whole thing, only the last entries, but still... If you want to make sure the contestants that are voted off don't know absolutely anything that happens in-game, they'd need to leave the fed. Which might get messy if they then need to rejoin to act as jurors.
In case you should be eliminated it is required for you to leave both the Tribe room as well as the main room. That is to re-enact the eliminated players to not know what goes on in the game. Therefore it is STRICTLY forbidden to share any information with eliminated players as well as non-particitpating ones.
This is especially important during the jury phase... where the eliminated players form the jury that will vote on the winner of the show.
