"That's just it. There's no record of any kind of military training. Not even a mention of any kind on the dark web. No phone. No electronics. For all intents and purposes, he's a ghost."

"So why does his face keep cropping up then? I don't like this. Take a break. Get you and me both some coffee. I'm going to check a couple of things."

"We're going to fill in the agents right?"

"It's strange. But we've probably just overlooked something. It's a low threat priority and I'm not going to go crying wolf while there are bigger missions and bigger stakes at hand."

Finley shrugged and stood, but there was a gnawing sensation in his gut, nauseous and queasy.
