A PRINCE INTO GLADIATORS
Body type: Athletic
Gear: casual or elegant clothes
Introduction
My name is Gian Franco Velerian.
I'm a Roman prince and heir to a lineage rooted in the oldest nobility of Rome.
My family descends from the Valerii, one of the great patrician families of the Roman Republic, a name once associated with power, military command, public office, and civic honor. Over the centuries, this ancient gens became a princely house
In my family, I was taught that blood alone is not enough. An ancient name means nothing if it is not carried with dignity and strength. Since childhood, I have lived among Roman palaces, family archives, portraits of ancestors, antique collections, and stories of a past almost too heavy for one man to bear.
Yet I do not see myself as an aristocratic relic. I am a modern man, but I know where I come from. I protect my family’s properties, supervise restorations, support cultural foundations, and make sure the Velerian palaces remain alive. An abandoned palace is only a tomb. A palace that is inhabited, restored, and transformed remains proof of power.
Sport holds an essential place in my life. My body is a form of discipline, almost a living coat of arms. I want to embody the Valerian name. Physical strength, for me, is not vanity. It is a form of respect toward my ancestors, toward Rome.
I have always been fascinated by the gladiators of ancient Rome. Their courage, their brutality and their discipline have always obsessed me. Probably the reason I love bodies that tell the story of effort. A man who trains seriously does not lie. His body reveals his will, his flaws, his pride, and his hunger.
I love places that carry memory, noble materials, marble, leather, linen, dark woods, and golden light. I am also an interior decorator, not because I need a profession, but because I cannot bear to see beauty wasted. For me, decorating a palace, a villa, or a hotel suite is not simply a matter of taste. It is a way of giving life back to history. A room should never look like a museum. It should breathe, seduce, and command respect.
I live in the present, but I carry within me the weight of the Valerii, the memory of the arenas, and the taste for an ancient kind of strength.
